The Travelling Merchant
Travelling the seas trying to buy out your fiscal freedom isn’t as fun as it may seem, and more often than not, you’re left with an abundance of odds and ends from unsuccessful vault pillages. Zeki was no stranger to the feeling of failure, and had devised a small stronghold beneath the caves of a Kilima cliff face to hide what overflow he had accumulated throughout his travels.
However, sailing a boat to the edge of a sleepy town like Kilima isn’t exactly the easiest of things, and so Zeki devised a plan. He’d park his boat in Bahari Bay, and make the trip via cart. It was a ingenious plan really, to most, he looked like a simple travelling merchant, making his way through the valley to his next destination. And Kilima and it’s neighbouring valleys were most used to traders travelling via cart. They also knew of a grimalkin’s reputation, so cartel or not, they were never to be truly trusted. This gave Zeki an excellent ploy, and so he could blaise his way past the village as he pleased.
